Bowery grows its crops in an indoor, controlled environment year-round. We use a soil-like medium to germinate our plants. The roots are exposed to water, which is where the crop receives a precise nutrient mix to flourish. Thanks to our proprietary farm operating system, BoweryOS, we’re able to harvest each crop at the exact right time, ensuring flavor is at its prime. Our produce reaches stores and restaurants within a few days; in a traditional produce supply chain, this process can take weeks.
